During the three months from October to December 2009 the question was awnsered that had been growing in the back of my head for a while. Can I cross a continent solo, unsupported and with my own two legs?

In order to awnser that question I bought a bike, packed my bags and took of to Australia to cycle from Darwin in the Northern Territory to Melbourne in Victoria.
